Founder & Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Samantha Roche, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Samantha Roche is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing, earned with honors from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The George Washington University. For nearly two decades, she has provided care across a range of clinical settings. In her roles at the Weill Cornell Psychiatry Collaborative Care Center and in her current full-time private practice, she has helped countless patients improve their overall health and quality of life.

Samantha approaches care with a holistic perspective, considering each patient’s physical, emotional, and social well-being. She believes that collaboration is at the heart of psychiatry, and she values the therapeutic partnership between clinician and patient. Her treatment approach integrates psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic modalities, tailored to individual needs and goals. She also works closely with primary care providers and medical specialists to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care that supports both mental and physical health.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Sharon Friedman-Urevich, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Sharon Friedman-Urevich is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience and specialized expertise in neurology. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Stony Brook University and a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Molloy University. She brings a unique depth of knowledge to her work in psychiatric care. With a strong foundation in both physical and mental health, she offers an integrative approach, understanding the full spectrum of patient needs.

As a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Sharon is committed to helping individuals achieve optimal functioning and improved quality of life. Her person-centered approach is rooted in respect, empathy, and collaboration. She prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships and empowers patients to take an active role in their care. Drawing on her background as both a clinician and educator, she blends evidence-based treatments with compassionate, individualized support to promote lasting wellness.

Micaela Gutlove, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Micaela Gutlove is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience caring for individuals across a range of clinical settings. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from St. John Fisher University, graduating with honors. Her clinical background includes working with patients presenting with complex psychiatric conditions, providing her with a strong foundation in comprehensive mental health care.
Micaela works with adults navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and related concerns. She takes a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach to treatment, integrating evidence-based medication management with a focus on understanding each patient’s unique experiences and goals.

She values building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard and engaged in their care. She works closely with other providers when appropriate to support coordinated, whole-person care.

Deborah Edelman, LMSW
Deborah Edelman, LMSW, serves as Patient Care Coordinator at South Shore Collaborative Psychiatry and has been a valued member of the practice for over eight years. With a strong background in mental health and a deep understanding of patient needs, she plays an essential role in guiding individuals through the intake process. Deborah is committed to ensuring each patient is thoughtfully matched with the right clinician, helping to create a supportive and seamless start to care.
