About
I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master's Degree in Nursing with honors from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The George Washington University. For nearly two decades I have worked with patients in multiple settings. As a nurse practitioner at the Weill Cornell Psychiatry Collaborative Care Center and in current full-time private practice, I have helped many patients improve their overall health and quality of life.
As a nurse practitioner, I take pride in conceptualizing the patient as a whole and take physical, social, and emotional well-being into account. Working together is at the heart of psychiatry and collaborative care, and I view a patient as a teammate in wellness. I utilize medication and psychotherapeutic modalities as needed to help patients achieve their goals. I also work closely with primary care providers and other specialists to optimize mental health and physical health outcomes.

Services
Comprehensive Psychiatric Care
I provide consultations, comprehensive evaluations, ongoing medication management, and brief psychotherapy for adults 18 and older. I can treat a wide range of mental health issues, and specialize in depression, anxiety, panic, coping with medical illness, relationships, and women's issues. Weekly talk therapy/psychotherapy services are provided by our specially trained associates.
What To Expect
Patients can expect high quality, comprehensive services from a warm and empathic provider. I take the time that is necessary to listen and understand your unique needs. Medication is only prescribed if it is deemed necessary and at the lowest effective dose to achieve your goals. I will communicate with you and your health care providers efficiently and effectively.
Patients are expected to be in the active care of a primary care provider and should be willing to utilize the patient portal.
Rates and Insurance Information
I am in-network with some commercial insurance panels including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Optum, Oxford, Northwell Direct Tier 1, and United Healthcare. Please call to speak with our team about your specific plan and rate information. The first visit may be virtual or in person and follow up appointments are conducted virtually via our HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform. Please ask about additional available consulting services.
